SCHONBEK TO EXHIBIT
NEW CRYSTAL TABLE LAMP
DESIGNS AT HIGH POINT

PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Schonbek crystal table lamp collection continues to expand. New designs for spring will be on display at High Point April 14-20, 2005.

Schonbek will also be occupying a new and bigger exhibit space. The new location is:

200 NORTH HAMILTON STREET
SUITE 212 SOUTH COURT

“Most lamps are mere accessories,” said President & CEO Andrew Schonbek. “We strive to create lamps that can be perceived as art objects, lamps so personable that the homeowner might be tempted to design whole rooms around them.

“We work with fine Bohemian lead crystal vases, richly colored crystal urns and ornaments, chunky glass rods and semi-precious quartzes like rock crystal and amethyst.”

Lampshades are unique to Schonbek. Luxuriant fabrics include cut velvet, silvery sheers and Dupioni silk. A shade might be trimmed with British braiding, classic piping, soutache or eyelash fringe, depending on the mood of the design.

Even the finial is artfully composed – a crystal sculpture in miniature.

Styles include classic, contemporary and purely whimsical. Recent designs are wildly colorful, from foot to finial.

Every Schonbek crystal lamp is an original design, carrying the Schonbek hallmark. Many lamps come with built-in dimmer switches. The collection includes crystal table lamps, accent lamps and buffet lamps.
