Vision Statement
  1. Our Destination - We will become an extraordinary enterprise; in choosing to trust one another we will complement each others’ strengths and compensate for each others’ weaknesses. In this way we will achieve much more as an organization than we could as an ordinary group of individuals.

  2. Commitment - We will expect each Company member to make a personal commitment to the process of continuous improvement and individual growth. As this occurs, positive change will become a way of life that provides for the use of our creative energies.

  3. Recognizing and Supporting Others - Each of us has been given special gifts; if we do not see talent and ability in others it is because of our own failure to look beneath the surface. It will become everyone’s job to support others and to be actively involved in helping them to reach their potential.

  4. Teams - While respecting the individual, we will work together in teams; as we commit ourselves to working with one another our full range of ideas and abilities will be released to solve problems.

  5. Learning - We will make available education, training and world class technology; as a learning organization our members’ ability to grow and adapt will become the source of our competitive advantage.

  6. Openness and Trust - We will have openness, unafraid plain talk and the sharing of information. There will be no place in the organization for political behavior. We will establish a foundation of trust by directing our competitive instincts at the competition - not at one another.

  7. Nature of Work - We will see all Company members as problem solvers. Whatever the actual work function, everybody’s main job will be to find ways to improve the process and share them with others. As this happens, the role of the supervisor will continue to evolve.

  8. Job Security - We will aim to provide a high degree of job security. As Total Quality performance drives down our break-even point, our ability to survive an economic downturn without laying off people will be increased.

  9. Diversified Markets - We will be an international business; selling our product around the world will lessen our dependency on conditions in any one country. In other words, “we won’t be putting all our sales eggs in one basket”.

  10. Financial Independence - We will operate the business with a minimum of borrowed money. This will require a high level of profitability to fund our growth and development.

  11. Customer Focus - We will make sure that everything we do is important for our customers. To be certain that our work really does add value we will listen to our customers, understand their requirements, and share these with all members of the Company.

  12. Market Leadership - We will seek leadership in all markets in which we are active. We will not try to be “all things to all people”, but will focus on meeting those market needs where our excellence sets us apart. This will result in products that are unique as a result of their innovative nature and lasting beauty, as well as their value and integrity.

  13. Total Quality - The principles of Total Quality will be the foundation of our work life. This means knowing what the customer wants and controlling the process so that what the customer wants is the only thing that is produced.

  14. Speed - To deal with the opportunities and challenges of our rapidly changing world, we will develop a fast response time capability in all areas of the business.

  15. Flexibility - We will work towards simplicity, cost effectiveness, and flexibility in all areas of our operation.

  16. No Excess Fat - We recognize most inventory as an obstacle to quality, flexibility, speed and continuous improvement; we will therefore work towards reducing it to an absolute minimum.

  17. Vendor Relationships - We will build open and trusting relationships with our suppliers. We will work with those who treat us the way we will treat our own customers.

  18. Planning - We will operate the Company on the basis of information and facts. Plans will be understood by all members so that each one will see how their work contributes to moving the business forward.

  19. Growth - We will aim to keep on growing as a business; this is necessary if we are to continue to provide opportunities for advancement and growth for individual Company members.

  20. Freedom from Fear - As all this unfolds, we will increasingly see our work not just as a job, but rather as a source of joy and adventure. Fear will be driven from the workplace as we support and encourage one another, learn from our mistakes, and strive for excellence in everything we do.
