19. What if I want a flat canopy, a really minimalist look with Geometrix™ attached directly to my ceiling?

Use a QMP-MI-CH, which doesn't need a junction box. It mounts to a ceiling or surface. Mounting is accomplished by a flange ring that accepts screws, and a wiring compartment with standard size knock-out is provided. Wiring compartment height is 3 inches. See diagram. A remote transformer is required.

Or if you still have an electrical box to cover, use a QMP-M1RN-TR-CH. This is a flat round cover and mounts directly to the electrical box. A remote transformer is required.
