Our Versailles crystal chandelier dates back to one of the greatest entertainers of all: Louis XIV, seventeenth century France. Affairs of state were never allowed to interfere with pleasure parties, and the furnishings of the period were so elaborate, it put you in a party mood just to look at them. Louis favored chandeliers richly bejeweled with ornate crystal pendeloques and baroque scrollwork with an airy open cage construction. We follow his taste in our interpretation of this historic style.
