Tesoro means “treasure” in Italian, and this Schonbek chandelier was designed to display treasures from the Earth.

Pendants of rare rock crystal hang like ripe fruit from the slender frame by means of tendril-like hand-formed loops. The finial ornament is a massive rock crystal ball. Even the bobeches beneath the hand-cast candle cups are hand-carved of rock crystal.

Our private sourcing of gem-quality rock crystal has been an adventure well worth it, because it’s enabled us to re-introduce rock crystal to contemporary collectors who can appreciate its marvels.

The frame of Tesoro is entirely handcrafted. The molten, meteoric finish is original to Schonbek and complements the naturalistic theme of this design.
